Ultra Park’s buildings incorporate sustainable or “Green” features to protect the environment. The buildings use the latest technologies and most advanced techniques of design, construction, and management to reduce the water and energy requirements, toxic emissions, and overall impact on the environment. The buildings minimize the impact on public infrastructure, and are pioneer for the community setting a standard for the market. The design is based on International Standards to accommodate high profile international firms. The buildings are in compliance with all local codes and laws in regards to seismic codes and regulations, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Act) 101. The materials and interior finishes are selected to enhance the aesthetic feel for the client. All materials are approved by UL Underwrite Laboratories and ASTM American Society for Testing Materials. These materials and standards will ensure not only the safety of the client and visitors, but also provide the highest level of comfort.
Ultra Park is located in the heart of the workforce. It’s central location allows convenient access to all metropolitan areas and the airport. Located nearby is the largest private university in Costa Rica, Interamerican University, and a large population of the existing and potential employee base. Also within close proximity are three other universities including UNA, Costa Rica’s the second largest public university. Public transportation is located directly in front of the buildings.
Redundancy of telecommunications is available, and both public telecommunication providers ICE and RACSA have dedicated space located within the buildings. All telecommunications including fiber-optic and telephone service are underground. All connectivity options available in Costa Rica are available to the client. All electrical cable will be installed underground. Back-up generators provide 100% of power for the buildings including the air conditioning load and all life safety systems.
